The Swiss Society for Cannabis in Medicine SSCM sets as professional society the primary goal that cannabis as drug is accepted, legally regulated and clinically implemented. It promotes the scientific, rational and destigmatized use as well as the simplified, unbureaucratic access to therapies with medical cannabis.

Further, it is the task of the society to join clinicians, scientists, politicians, representatives of companies, and health professionals. In addition, it fosters nationally and internationally the exchange of achievements from research and practice regarding medical cannabis.

SSCM is the Swiss ambassador of IACM (International Association for Cannabinoid Medicines).
